Jazz Band/Trio Buckinghamshire

The Eugene Portman Trio formed in 2004 grew from a need for a jazz band that wasn’t too high-brow, but consisted of great tunes. A style of music that would have a more general appeal than most contemporary jazz bands. Influences have included the classic jazz trios of Dudley Moore, Oscar Peterson and Monty Alexander and The Rat Pack Trio: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies and Dean Martin. These influences combined with a an innovative creativity and a certain feel good quality have been instrumental in making the trio highly suitable for corporate events, weddings and private parties. The music can be mellow at times and exciting when the mood calls for it.  The performing Trio is currently made up of the following members: Eugene Portman from Lingfield Surrey, Mike Porter-Ward from Faversham Kent, Roy Jackson Andover Hampshire.
